David McMahon

M.D., F.A.A.P.

Dr. David McMahon is a board-certified Northwestern pediatrician on staff at Prentice Women’s Hospital as well as Lurie Children’s Hospital. “Dr. David” grew up in Connecticut before discovering his love of the Midwest when attending the University of Michigan. He went on to medical school at the University of Connecticut, then completed his residency at Yale Children’s Hospital. He continued his training at Yale by completing a year as Chief Resident before arriving at WP. “Dr. David” and his wife now love living in the Chicago area with their son! His clinical interests include childhood allergies, sports medicine, and cardiology with a love for teaching and education. Other interests include hiking, reading bedtime stories to his son, traveling, and anything Michigan-related. Go blue!
